As we approach the end of the week, it is important for me to tell you that the coming Sunday is National Pension Tracing Day. It is estimated that over 3 million pensions of all shapes and sizes have been lost, with up to £31.1billion ready to be claimed. In the digital age, keeping information may seem easier than before, but it can be so easy to forget to update all of your details with so many websites and organisations that some important ones get lost in translation. Speaking of approaching, as much as I would prefer not to say before we’ve even had Halloween, Christmas is on the horizon. Just 2 months now until it’s Christmas Eve and hopefully the presents everyone wants are safely under the tree. Or you’re at least scrambling to get them there like I usually do. But your investments and financial future are not things you should be scrambling trying to get them wrapped up. I may harp on about it, but it’s because it is incredibly important to get these things sorted whilst you’re in a position to. The flurry of busy days, costs racking up and plenty of time consuming, albeit fun, events can make it very hard to concentrate on the admin.
