17 Oct Weekly Update – Recognition
Welcome back everyone,
To be recognised is a lovely thing. To have your needs acted upon, or your achievements highlighted is something that brightens you up even on a bad day. Today I’d like to highlight the achievements of someone who has been stellar at acting upon the needs of those he is working with. Our placement student, Jamie, working as a researcher with the Paraplanning team, has been commended by Bournemouth Uni, who have seen fit to award him for his contributions and acumen. He was nominated for both the Citizenship and Innovation awards at their Employability Awards, and won the former! It’s a fantastic achievement for him and we are all really proud to be a part of his development and journey.
As a researcher, he has to know what people need in order for us to effectively help them. So to be celebrated for his ability to identify that, talk about recognition! Well done Jamie, keep doing what you’re doing, you’re evidently on a great track.
See you all next week.
